  • ^^^ there was MTB, Touring and Racing models. Each was a different frame designed using (for the time) very sophisticated computer mathematical modelling analysis.

    They are made from magnesium casting alloy used quite a bit in aircraft components because of its high strength to weight ratio, so in theory it's possible to repair a crack (Tig welding typically) but very difficult due to the material .. you'd be better off looking for another frame.

    TIG welding anything cast is a bit of a nightmare.
