Soooooo I rode this for the first time in a few months the other day and I soon remembered why i've fallen out of love with it. I had shooting pains up my forearms from being over stretched. The wheels are also annoyingly heavy.
Basically this bike will sat being unused until I can afford to get a new cockpit and wheels i.e. all winter, besides all my winter road riding will be done on my new genesis.
But then I thought:
"fuck that bikes are meant to be ridden, i'm not going to let this go unused all winter! I've got an idea!"
I've got pretty everything i'd need in spare parts, my rack is currently bikeless (My track bike which it used to live on is out of action due to some cunt kicking the forks in and my gensis is getting a rear rack which will suite it better), i've got risers, brake levers, pedals and friction shifters so it should be a quick transition.
