Actually the tip was: tri-berry Nuun + cider.

But I was trying to stay on-topic about the benefits of Nuun during the work day and regular life without fully descending into heavy drinking talk.

Gone for the cola and lemon tea ones - I like the caffeine electrolytes for longer solo rides to keep the brain going, it can turn into mush after a long time on the road....

Lemon Tea hype means I've just gone and grabbed some of that even though I really don't need any more at this point.

How long does Nuun last? I'll have enough for months and months pretty soon.

Is it possible to overdose on Nuun?

If you like lemon tea, you can't go wrong, the taste is spot on, it's just like drinking weak lemon tea (which is how I prefer mine anyway)

The lemon tea, and kona kola contain 40mg of caffeine. I did'nt feel that was enough for an addict like myself so I just ordered mixed fruit flavours.

I am considering adding say 80mg (what you'd get in a weak cup of coffee) of caffiene suppliment.

Just need to find some soluble stuff. Caffiene is very soluble in alcohol. So I could just mix 2 parts nuun to 1 part gin. That'll take the edge off a painful ride too.

Yep, Cola for me too, just ordered a couple of packs. They always stop my old legs cramping up on a long ride and provide a nice little boost.

Yes, ta muchly, Velocio. Just stocked up. Agree that they are excellent off the bike. They are also the one bike-type product that my wife and kids will consume without a groan: I even managed to get my wife, who was in labour (and is is fair to say not open to new suggestions), to consume some. Kids prefer to diaoralyte too. Recommended.

Not normally bothered with these kind of things but after all the glowing reviews how could I not take a punt? Went for the cola and tri-berry flavours. Not too bad at £7.50.

I expect to feel like superman after each drink.
