I have an iPhone 4 I want to downgrade from iOS 7 back to iOS 6, for various reasons;
I dislike the look and usability of iOS 7 for the most part,
it's slow / laggy on my device even after restoring from backup,
and I can't use it on a work computer (G5 PPC) no more, as that does not run iTunes 11.
Apple support chat says, in short, it is technically not possible to downgrade -
"sometimes I wish I could perform magic, but I can't, try restoring your device".
