Hope Vision 2 & Hope District+ is working well for me. You can definitely get the same amount of light and more for a lot less dorrah, but I'm generally happy.
The seatpost mount for the District+ is a bit restrictive (yes, it's circular seatpost only) and positioning it so it doesn't rub against flabby thighs is a bit of an art but I don't feel too hard done by with it. The Vision 2 did fail on me once but Hope repaired it and sent it back for free despite it being ex-demo.
