Someone posted a link to a €20 wipperman 10s8, I think it was a german website. I want to stock up on a few and save on shipping. Anyone remember the site link? I cant find it from the search.

No decals. Legit?
Any opinions?

Strange looking fork

I see decals... Looks hot if you ask me!

"Please note: These forks come without decals."
Also regal, I'd doubt planet x would sell fake ones as real, but it is strange they come with no decals.

it is strange they come with no decals.
1: Bike manufacturer specs Funda Pro on their OTP bike
2: orders 1000 from 3T with no decals- decides* to build only 900 of that model
- PX snaps up the over-stock for a song
*or maybe they only ever intended to make 900, but the price break from 3T made it more sensible to take 1000 and punt out the surplus to a stock liquidator like PX
- decides* to build only 900 of that model

^ yeah, exactly, standard PX practice I guess. I know you get decal-less forks for supply to manufacturers, framebuilders etc. for them to paint/brand themselves (Fundas were standard on a lot of Cervélos, weren't they). I've seen logo-free EC90s as well. danstuff helpfully answered in the PX thread, saying they're identical to his other Fundas so I'm sure they're legit.

My feet get really cold in my Shimano road shoes. I've learnt to move them a bit to stop cramping as happened when I first moved to clip less a couple of years ago. Any suggestions on improving the situation? I already wear Defeet woolie bully thick socks year round! Starting to wonder if I'm a cold feet freak? It's never a problem in any other situation... I think the standard insoles with vent makes them my feet too cold for autumn and winter. Are better thicker insoles worth the investment? Anyone tried insulated insoles for this kind of problem?

Oversocks to stop the wind blowing through. They're quite cheap and all they're doing is stopping the wind

Speed play Zero pedals - what wears first, pedal body or cleat?
My right hand pedal now has some movement fore/aft during the pedal stroke- you can feel a sort of click as the cleat moves on the pedal.
Should I replace the cleat, the pedal body, or both?

Toeclips come in sizes:
Medium Euro 36-40
Large Euro 40-44
X-Large Euro 44-48Question is, what foot position is this referring to?
I wear size 47 shoes, but have no intention of riding midfoot, should I get a size down?

Normal ball-of-foot position. The size of your shoes makes as much of a difference as anything tbh. Big puffy trainers obviously requiring a bigger clip than espadrilles or whatever.
If you're looking at the MKS ones I found the shoe size guidance was about right when I used to use them.

The market for midfoot-compatible toeclips is so small I don't think you'd find any readily-available products.

So I might be getting a tandem soon. Anyone with experience, am I going to be able to carry it up a stairway column or are they too long?
-
• #51771
you'd probably just need to lift the front up higher when you double back on each landing

Mine's too long for that malarkey (fnah). It just fits in my 8'x6' shed and wheeling it around always causes shin injuries on rogue pedals.
