  • I don't know. Website doesn't say. It's a mystery Scooby....

  • This would assume so:

    Regional C & Regional C+
Eligibility: open to Senior and Junior riders of all categories with a Full Racing Licence or holders of a Day Licence. Race to be run as a handicap or other appropriate format.
Race may also be restricted to 4th category riders only or holders of a Day Licence.
    Distance/Time:

    • The minimum time shall be 30 minutes, and the maximum 90 minutes
Notes: Where the circuit is too small to allow for a handicap event which meets the minimum time requirement, the organiser may choose to use an alternative format, provided that the chosen format reasonably caters for the widest possible range of ability. Time Trials shall be run as Regional C+ or Regional C events.

But that's for road racing, and they don't seems to offer Day Licenses at League

  • I refer to this post
    http://www.lfgss.com/post934992-1.html

"BIG NEWS: If you have BC silver membership you do not have to pay for a day license (at events where they are allowed) and you can have as many day licenses as you want throughout the year! I learnt this yesterday, this means with Silver membership you could race all Herne Hill track leagues and open events and all the Crystal Palace circuit races and most of Hog Hill races without ever buying a license…..you do not get BC ranking points however."

  • shit, does this mean I've run out of excuses?

  • yep

  • Here I come then

  • I thought that was hippy.

  • Never gets old

  • If you are member of a cycling club you can get a promo code that gets you £15 off the silver membership so from £38 to £23 for 12m

My excuse is I'm going to wait for the end of the season ebfore buying 12m so next year I have no excuse

    • next years excuse will be I am waiting for the LFGSS cc to get founded so I can join a cc
  • fuck - that's 15 quid I won't see again.

  • Sadly Stanchion CC in non affiliated :(

  • Anyone know if Monday night is on tonight? A bit wet here in Southwark at the moment

  • Nevermind
    "*Herne Hill Velodrome‏@HerneHillVel17m*
It's stopped raining here for now so the evenings sessions will be running as normal. Unless it starts again. We'll keep you posted!"

  • First time I've been on the track with the lights. A bit disconcerting at first. On the points race around the banking I kept thinking i was getting swamped as I could see the shadows of other riders coming around me.

    It was my shadow.

  • yeah - takes a bit of getting used to. I like racing under the lights though.

  • So I was told last week that tonight is the last monday night session of the year. I took my bike and stuff in order to make it tonight, providing I don't feel too lazy as usual...
    See you guys there, maybe...

  • Is it actually the last one? I heard a rumour that Monday night training will continue but it will be drills and rotations rather than race formats...

  • Think i told loic told this, and looks lik i'm wrong as the calender shows one more session after this week.
I'm done for the season anyway!

  • There will be one on the 30th Setpember too.

  • Thanks for clearing that up

  • p.s - Laner, you are lazy.

  • My aim was to do the last one, for the sake of it... so in theory I could not go tonight, and go home peacefully on the Brompton. If you call Michel lazy, then I'm king of the lazies...

I didn't do much this year, maybe 8-9 sessions in total... that's lame, but if I remember correctly I did even less the previous year...

I intend to use my rollers once during the winter...
