Thanks,
Yeah, would love to slam the Carlton stem, but it is well and truly stuck fast - I've tried pretty much everything I can think of, but am wary to do more as I don't want to risk the forks. Anyone has any ideas for loosening or removing it, let me know.
The saddle will get altered, just need to ride it a bit more to find my best position for it, that's all.
Cut the stem off, anywhere above the headset... take the forks off and upturn them in the bottle that contained the coke that just failed to remove the stem, fill with warm water and caustic soda, let it fix for a couple of days rinse and repeat.... should take about a week or two of that.

1 1/8" carbon forks with mudguard eyes that can take 28c with full width mudguards?
Tifosi CK7 are the only ones I can find so far.

Search for Spa Cycles carbon fork. It might be the same fork (but at least it's listed with some useful info).
-
• #82811
Dolan (and maybe Ribble/Surosa) have one too, though 28s are a tight fit so spray gets launched out the top of the 'guard.

The Spa ones look good, thanks.

Tried to buy some training clinchers for my track bike - ended up with dura ace hubs laced to araya tubs . Whoops. They are bloody nice though.

The Enigma Etape forks definitely take 25C with full 'guards, they might take 28s but I'm not 100% sure.

E-mailed Enigma: thanks.

Presumably the ones I sent him at the end of July, so that's about 6 weeks worth of polishing, starting with black anodised Mirage cranks.

Thanks Ed.
Saw those, but "Mudguard clearance for ***most ***25mm tyres and 35mm guards" doesn't sound flexible enough for my needs.
Good price though.

Last solution is the Genesis Equilibrium fork that can accept 28mm and mudguard, 32mm without.
The downside is that it come painted.

Is the Edscoble mudguard collection online or accessible for public viewing?
intrstdHe's on here ask him he's got a brilliant Flickr account and first class eye for bike detailing particularly proper mudguards
Sorry Spotter the back does look like a Ghetto style mudguard, crudcatchers are ghastly, try a Ghetto one on the front seriously you can make them far lower to the ground and they catch most of the foot/leg drenching zone, but not on cornering

I've been considering re-lacing my Phils to TB14s.
question is, will a wider rim/different tyre profile cause any problems with my front tyre clearance?
