I got angry.
My gears sometimes lose the ability to shift into the biggest sprocket over a long ride. I suspect poor cable installation. After doing some intense climbing, I really wanted to get into my big sprocket. I got all pissy and used a stupid amount of force on the finger lever. Something snapped.
I've dismantled, and reassembled the lever. Cant actually see what broke. I suspect I've rounded off a latching mechanisn.
I ordered a replacement lever mechanism, and body. But that seems to have been delivered to canada. So I'm now in a Ebay dispute. The whole thing is a massive PITA.
