I'm moving to Putney on the 1st October. My new street doesn't have parking restrictions which means that wandsworth council can't/will not reserve a space for the removal lorry.

Would anybody be willing to park up a car or two on the day before to reserve us some space? You will ne renumerated for your help. We'd just need you to move your car when we get there with the lorry just after lunch on the 1st.

Will the lorry block the whole road if double parked? If not, I wouldn't worry about it and try and rope in some more hands for the off loading, which in my experience is usually twice as quick as the loading.
