+1 on Insure And Go - been with them for ~8 years now and get snow sports cover.
Once missed a flight out of Lon pre-Xmas, like 23rd or 24th-something to Jerusalem due to the snow messing with trains. A true holiday season hell scene from the movies, it was utter chaos.
They coughed up the money for my replacement flight which I had to buy at the airport with another airline, cha-ching.
I think I also claimed the train fine I incurred jumping from Oyster-Blackfriars to National Rail-Blackfriars in the panic, to try get to Luton.
Anyways, made it to Bethlehem for Christmas day. That was cool.
