I use Insure'n'Go for travel insurance - about 50 quid a year for their Gold multi-trip option. They coughed up reasonably quickly when I tried shoulder-charging a Swiss Alp on my mountain bike a few years back. The Alp won.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else got any positive experiences?

I'm just worried the £30 lot will be a real ballache if I need to claim so positive experiences with claiming would be great.
