Yeah normally I tend to go a size down on gloves and break them in a little as I hate it when gloves go all baggy.
Thanks for the info - I don't really expect anything to be waterproof over 2 hours, but as long as I can stay warm I don't mind. The 8 or so 4+hr rides i did in torrential rain last winter were horrible, even with a spare pair of gloves to switch to after 2 hrs my hands would still be numb and soaked after half an hour.
