I ride countdowns when training. Very waterproof. But 2h + of proper rain and your hands will get wet. However they will stay warm.
Team with silk liners for sub 0 temps and you'll be fine all day, as long as you don't take the gloves off!!! That is key to any gloves working!
They seem true to size, maybe size up one so you've some extra room as room will keep your hands warm. And leaves space for silk liners.
Get them from wiggle, as wiggle do easy hassle free returns for faulty items. I've had 2 fall apart on me, but I put hours into them. So that's fair. But wiggle sorted them no issue.
