Shoot on Raw. Conference locations are a fucking nightmare for white balance half the time. You'll be thankfull for the option to change it when you come to editing so the photos all look consistent. But I imagine they'll only want jpgs delivered.
Regarding straps, fuck that sling shit. And you definately wouldn't want the. With two bodies. Normal straps are fine. They keep the camera(s) in place. And you're right ed, rarely see any pros on the curcuit rocking that gimmicky shit.
Oh I got that Think Tank Airport Essentials rucksack. It's great. Looks the business, and comfortable fully loaded when cycling.
