I would say best not to do anything until Milwaukee has got back to you.
Also, I think Adam cracked the drive side chainstay of his pomp many moons ago and Ryan brazed on a gusset as a temp fix for it. Cambs Josh also had a similar problem with his and I think Lee welded on a shim of some sorts. Drop both of them a PM?
