I'm yet to read any guides on using it properly. My test shot was just hand held, but I recall people talking about long exposures on tripods using ND filters. Is there an advantage to a long exposure with an ND over a shorter, non-filtered shot? The X100 has a built in ND filter though, so that should make playing about a bit easier and cheaper. My IR filter is just an £8 Ebay job.
