Genesis is releasing a 650B bicycle that base on their Croix de Fer model called the Col du Glandon, it claim to be a youth model, but look big enough for says, cafewanda.
It have the full 8 speed Shimano Claris groupset which is a lots better than the original 2300 that have a tiny paddle shift on the hood, the chainring is a 46/34 which is ample with the 11-30 cassette on the rear, huge range of gearing for all sort of terrain.
Cantilever brakes, don't know why they didn't just put mini-v as the Claris levers work well with them as well.
Best thing about it, it's well priced at £650, I haven't seen the geometry sheet yet, but it look very promising as the seat angle look fairly relaxed and doesn't look like there's toe overlap issue too.
