^ Generally agree with you b&d except that the most important reason has to be that the watch excites and interests you. After all, hopefully you are going to wear it.
I know what I like and what I don't. I also don't care what others think of my watch, I get a little rise everytime I check the time.
Buying for investment is either a bonus or just boring... So CB is right (!).
