If it was the week before then it wouldn't be part of the BFF would it you plums.
Speaking of which, looks like there's a couple of Italian polo shorts on the Saturday. I would also very much recommend Wadjda.
Oh and anyone want to make a team for this?
-

Yes, there's supposed to be a BFF tourney and so it will be. Can only be on the 6 Oct. longest running series in London as well I heard.

Wait, this is on the Sunday? What's the start time?
It takes about an hour to get from Canterbury to London bridge right ;)
do you think we can manage two tournies in one day?!

Also it might be worth pointing out that with two other tournaments going on this weekend, this is the perfect place for beginners (and sandbagged!) as you will have a much better chance than normal.

Given that this conflicts with two other UK tournaments, can I propose the following (it's actually Nik and Ryan's idea originally).
Best Friends Forever Tournament 2013
- Every team must contain one noob bike polo player (introduce your friend to bike polo)
- Extra points will be awarded to teams that contain two noob friends
- Laura will be expected to promote the fact that we're encouraging complete noobs to play
I can help organise this Paul, it would still be a simple affair (throw-ins setup with some bells and whistles: BBQ, generator, tunes, gazebo, etc). I'm just a little worried we're going to have very low numbers without this kind of approach?
(I need to think of an alternative word for noob if this goes ahead.)
ShuffleComm would be expected to do the beer runs.
Thoughts?
