• Looking to build up a new rear wheel as I think it's on its way out. Figured it's the ideal time to go tubeless. With regards to the rim, i'm torn between With regards to rim i'm torn between Stan's Crests, Arch, or some cheap chinese carbon. I've heard reports of the Crests having a tendancy of going out of true/folding relatively easily. The various carbon options all seem to be around the same weight but i'd expect a fair bit more resilience from them.

    I'm fairly light and not one for hurtling across rock gardens so wouldn't expect to be asking too much of the rims in terms of strength. My 5 year old machine built wheels that came with my £400 bike are still fairly true.

    Quick thoughts?
