Current setup which rides great. Shed about a pound swapping out a few parts, saddle, stem, pedals...
Never managed to get my hands on the S1 forks from TF, and then these came up in classifieds...
Bit of a different look than nice steel forks, but I'm thinking it's going to look boss.
Not sure of the rake or a2c of the current forks but they're pretty tight, so not sure if the alpinas with tighten up clearances or if they'll be similar.
Means that I can run a matching Thomson and risers, and also that I can run my integralters without a quill adapter. thinking as well that the switch from threaded to threadless will shave some more grams, not that I'm really bothered about weight but I think at it's heaviest this was like 8.5-9kg, which for a decent steel track bike is fat as shit.
Have to admit, this decision was heavily influenced by this...
Also going to try out a flite and an arione for non-bib'd comfort
