Anything going that fast makes me feel sick , and a little nervous it's gonna catch fire !
The Tag Mikrograph takes it to another level. 1/100th sec chrono... 90 min power reserve on the chrono.
Then you have the movement just for the chronograph. Its escapement operates as a blazing 360,000bph - wow!

You don't dive but you have a diving watch.
Come on Iain, it screams CHAINBREAKER!

^^ I was eyeing that up.
Think Im going to try and go along to that, could be fun. No Arsenal game that day, so may as well do something.

^^ We're at home to Sunderland so I can't make it but if that goes for less than £500, it's an absolute steal.

That auction list is dangerous! Booklet seems to suggest you can do it online, which can only really make matters worse!

Yo fools! I've been reading the couple of articles linked above, interesting to see that most watches seem to share the same guts. Can anyone give me any info about cheap old Russian watches? Are they all crap/ generally fairy decent/ very hit and miss? I know nothing about watches but kinda like that Cold War look.

Tbh Tag's aren't my thing. For me, the brand is still tarnished by the 80's and 90's where everyone seemed to either have one or got a fake instead. That said I do think they are producing some interesting stuff these days (like the Mikrograph).
Heurer's (pre-Tag) on the other hand are still interesting for some reason... Maybe it's just the 'Tag' bit.

I'd love that, if it was in Hulk sizes...
So sad it's probably not.

And don't listen to their satirical advice
Whilst I would grant that most Swiss movements run slower, they certainly made some, not all of which were restricted to the top of the range models.
I think this one found it's way into a Cyma because of the Synchron grouping which included Girard-Perragaux - who had been part of the collective which added an auto module onto the AS1687. More details about that can be found here.
