I was on a Brooks Swift leather saddle for quite a while, but I can't say it was ever really comfortable for me. The reason for this I think is because the centre section of the saddle is too narrow for me.
Since the Swift is the only saddle shape from Brooks I like on a modernish bike, I got a Gilles Berthoud leather saddle instead. It has been super comfortable from day one and keeps getting better every day. Another great thing of the Gilles Berthoud is that you can ride it in the rain, so you won't need a saddle cover.
