So you would be happy for Nicklas Bendtner, a player who publicly admitted to never wanting to play for Arsenal, lead our attacking line this season?
If Giroud were to get injured it is that or a player who has spent 80% of his professional career injured and is 20 years old, with very little experience.
Yes Theo or Poldi could play there but we obviously wanted a striker, so why didn't we get one?
We have 3 recognised CB's - all three of them have had serious injuries in their time at the club.
We have a midfield with one player over 6ft and he has been injured constantly for 7 years (picking up around 20m in the process!) and all of them are heavily injury prone.
I can think of 3 other similar teams who only brought in one major signing: Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
Our fully fit first team is on par with a lot of teams. My issue is that come middle of November, what will it look like.
