Down to Winchester this weekend to see the folks, did my standard figure eight loop through the Meon Valley.
I've been riding this roughly once a month all year and it's fascinating to see the change of the seasons writ large - from barren fields to tilled and seeded, then full bloom to the now partially harvested state that greeted us today.
The weather was stunning and the 45 miles of beautiful countryside really had me pondering "why do I live in London not here?"
Oh, and I bought my first tailored suit (not whilst riding, that would have been a bit much), so I need to go back to get it when it's ready so I'll do the ride again then.
