  • Glad you've got her back on the road where she belongs! I really had neglected her for so long.... I'd love to see more pics if you've got any.

It was quite a tricky job in the end mostly due to the petrol having turned into Satan's treacle both in the tank and the carb, which needed stripping rebuild kit with new gaskets and jets, ultrasound clean, reconditioned (recon by me) second-hand fuel tap, new fuel hoses, plug, all filters, new battery, tyres, etc. All the stuff you'd expect really but more of a recommission than just a clean up and service. Then there were a few fuelling faults that needed ironing out but turned out to just be a couple of blocked breathers, after much swearing and head scratching!

However, I took the opportunity to do a few extra jobs like replacing the standard horns with 120db monsters! Stainless brake hose, repainted the exhaust and painted the various chips and scrapes red again plus got the cracked panels plastic welded - just a general tidy really :)

Really pleased with the results, if you PM me your email again Steve (can't find it weirdly) I'll take some snaps when my camera's back from being serviced and send them to you. Cheers.
