  • Let me start on You're next, I'm unsure how this got so much attention and awards on the festival circuit because it was terrible, the acting right off the bat was brutal, not long in some stupid things happened and I had my guard up the rest of the film. It was obvious and clumsy, I'm not sure whats happened to horrors in the last few years, but most of the time I find them completely shit and this one fell right into this cat.

The Way way back, well I'll start on steve Carrel first, after 40 year virgin he's not been in anything that I regard to have been funny. His character in the film was a douchebag so i disregarded im. The film itself I loved, Liam James who plays Duncan in it, is a awkward teenager struggling to figure out where he fits in and he finds a place at the water park where he fits in amongst a group of adults who mostly dont want to grow up. I think the thing with this film is that you can relate to it, it was funny, quirky and a decent coming of age film.

Best film I've seen all summer I recon.
