Mine started out as a bike to take on holiday. Now since I live further out and MOC has stolen my Surly for his commute (Yes you heard right MOC is RIDING to work - only took me 6 years) It's my main steed.
At the moment I do about 10 miles a day on it and take the train the rest, I wouldn't want to do more on a 2 speed though tbh. I do everything from Tesco shopping to trips to Screwfix in Acton to buy large spanners - Screwfix are cool, they let me bring the brompton in.
