Tomder, as it's looking increasingly like you're not having any luck with your refund how about posting up some pics of your setup and how your heel is striking the stays? Some of the brains on here may be able to come up with a working solution. As has been mentioned before, STE5 has the same frame (though as RPM says, could have been a change from a different batch) and doesn't have the any issues so there may be a way around it.
