Ok maybe it was a little unfair, I don't follow things religiously but I'm sure I remember/have seen some dubious brake mount positioning (they still worked though). I didn't mean to say that as a trend his frames aren't up to scratch, more that I value high levels of quality control and don't mind paying for it.
Anyway the point is that I don't want anything experimental or custom specc'd. I want to give someone a pile of money and receive a frame that I know works. Having someone in Europe/London to talk to also appeals to me.
