CliveO despite your and TS' veneration of Mourinho, apart from the team he took over from Ranieri with Duff and Robben on the wings, which tore into the opposition in the first part of that season, none of his teams have filled me with football joy. Mourinho is the ultimate football pragmatist, and despite your age, and propensity to witter on about going to away grounds in the bad old days of the 70's and 80's, you Clive seem to believe that defensive football started when Mourinho slung an insult at spurs.
Did you not see how Chelsea won the Champions League, weren't you actually there?
Did Chelsea not park the bus for pretty much all of their matches against oppositions that put the fear into them and win on the counter attack?
Lazy and hypocritical Clive, thought you were better than that, but in your haste to keep the Mourinho faith, you've blinded yourself to the fact that the match was in fact shite, two supposedly big teams, coming up small..
