Bought a Selle Italia SLR 'Trans Am' Gel Flow for my commuter MTB way back in 2005. I think it cost me about 80 quid brand-new.
Loved it but decided to try a Fizik Arione when I built my first road bike. I didn't get on with the Arione, at all. The (now battered) SLR eventually made its way onto my road bike.
It was destroying my kit (and itself) due to being so worn, but rather than spend $229 on the new hideous version of it, I held out until a replacement popped up on Craigslist - which it finally did, last night.

Looks like they dropped the 'Trans Am' name for 2006, but it's the same saddle.
