I've seen a pic of that before, anyone have any idea what the intended purpose/benefit of the ridiculous seat tube angle was?
You'd have to stay out the saddle when climbing just to avoid flipping the thing over.
Moser's bike was designed in a wind tunnel, I am assuming the curved seatpost has something to do with wind resistance.
Though his record got beaten later with a rider on a Colnago with conventional angles. Maybe they all just had a bit too much EPO which was legal those days.
