I discovered the best spread the other day:
I would also like to try:
As everyone knows the Pecan is the king amongst nuts.

Yeah I tend to tip the oil out (you can use it for cooking) as soon as I get it... but sooo good.
Do you not need the oil to preserve the PB? Bet you could make some amazing satay with it though

That magical time of year where the garden and greenhouse produce eveything required for ratatouille (except the olive oil). Nom.

I'll raise you.
For me this beats jif anytime of day.
OK. So I've had this for a few days now. To me it's a very close run: tons of peanuts in there but there is a caramel sweetness to it that is just a little too strong for my taste buds. I prefer mine slightly saltier so the Jif remains on top but I now have a strong back up. If the Jif folks ever went peanut crazy like this guy it would be perfect.
Thanks Jaw.

Always a pleasure! Just add a bit of salt on top?

Saturday: finally got to Pitt Cue Co on Saturday night, well worth the wait but my advice would be to wait till 9pm when the queue's nonexistent. As expected incredz pulled pork, pigs head sausage was lovely but steep at £6 for a couple of slices, however in general two full bellies, a cocktail and a couple of rounds of soft drinks for less than £50 is pretty good IMO.
Sunday: Il Baccio Express. Honest and good as ever, my cream, mozza, prawn, cherry tomato and rocket pizza doing some seriously satisfying business of a Sunday evening.

Had a few friends over yesterday and knocked up a co-incidently meat free fest. A huge pot of (home grown thank you very much) broad bean and asparagus risotto with an obscene amount of parmesan and mozarella in. It was fantasically gooey. Had that with a pretty spicy sweet potato salad my lady wife knocked up and a watermellon salad with (also home grown) green beans, pine nuts and feta. Was absolutely delicious. No pics because I was too busy eating it.

risotto... ...with mozarella in.
Might run this one past my Italian in-laws for amusement value :-)
All actually sounds delish tho. -

I'm wondering if it was the second helping of that or the huge bowl of sherry-heavy trifle that followed which means that almost 24 hours later... I'm still not hungry.
This has never happened to me before. Uncharted territory.

All actually sounds delish tho.Yeah I'm sure it's entirely illegal. Just adds an extra layer of gooey deliciouslness though. You just chuck it in at the end so you get these cooler blobs of stringy creaminess in amongst the hot fragrant surroundings.

I noticed some blackberries in Brockwell Park yesterday.
Yeah I tend to tip the oil out (you can use it for cooking) as soon as I get it... but sooo good.
I just left a malaysian friends house where they'd cooked up a feast of stuff.
It was incredible. They'd cooked enough for 100 people, and maybe 75 turned up.
I ate an almost absurd amount. However, if you asked me to name a single thing I'd struggle.
