  • So what's the report???

  • I bailed out in the end, pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to it. I still went out on a solo night ride for a couple of hours, not the same though.

  • I went straight to my grans and ate 2 roast dinners! :)

Good ride. I left Bristol at 11:15pm (avoiding some rain) and didn't see anyone for an hour and a bit. I took it fairly easy, but kept the stops short and it was great. Getting onto Woodbury Common took an age but I got to the sunny sea just after 7am.

It's an amazing route. Probably the least boring century I've ever ridden.

    Everyone repped!

Who was the photographer lurking on the seafront. And where are his pictures?

  • there was a photographer lurking somewhere else around the 40mile mark as his flash photography scared me.

A great ride, started around 9.30pm and finished just before 6am, the last climb although not difficult is a hard one at the end of 100miles and no sleep.

The ride across the levels is always enjoyable and easy, Blagdon hill a little toughie but doable. Well organised and great food stops.

I said at the time never again, but am starting to reconsider!
