Let's offroad / mountain bike / mtb / ride dirt

please don't talk nonsense, a fixed gear bicycle may be fun and have it's appropriate place but you cannot compare it to a "proper" road bike. I don't think some of the riding I've done this summer would be remotely possible fixed, and if it was, I wouldn't enjoy it. So what's the point?

Although I do think you can grind up most stuff fixed, I think some of the MTB stuff in the dales and lakes would be 100% impossible SS, and miserable rigid...
