His chain came off because he'd only done up the non-drive side wheelnut. And despite the Dolan Forza (2 sizes too small for him) dropouts having very good built-in tensioners, he'd not done those up either.
Looks like the Mancheser effect has finally hit London's famous 'Herne Hill'
