Totally agree. In my opinion £40 or £80 respectively to build a bike is very reasonable. Bike mechanics and store owners are people too also need to eat, feed their children and pay their mortgages... Deal with it, go somewhere else, or do the fucking work yourself!
While a lot of people in the bike industry are in it for the love of the business, much like in any other industry really, they still need to make a living. Sorry for ranting in the wrong thread, but it's not like you would expect your groceries for free just because you're a regular at Tesco's.
