  • Can anyone recommend something good one can make for lunch the night before thats not salad, or am i screwed?

    I used to just eat pasta a lot but I'm planning on joining the gym when i move and trying to lose weight so cutting down my excessive carb intake is probably high on the best ways to do it (i'm happy to cut out pasta etc but the cakes staying) since my current diet is mainly cereal, pasta, rice, noodles and cake.

    How bad is cereal for that matter? In first year i was much slimmer/better weight but I didnt drink much and i had cereal for probably 10-15 meals of my 21 a week

    Stick a sweet potato in the oven the night before, it's more complex carbs and good energy and nutrient levels. Could try a chicken breast on the grill and then have that with it.

    Cereal is probably not great, porridge wins though.
