when in pursuit of Ludwig / letting the free-wheel roll, coasting down 300ft of Whitedown - unknowingly - en route to a wipeout (!), .. whilst passing ride-leader MoN (descending at a sensible pace), my mind could see Scarlett nodding his head in disapproval (likened later on the ride amusingly to Yoda!)..
.. seconds later, approaching hairpin corner... turning slightly... moving towards the outside of the road.. turn-in... slide... land.. :-)
open-notes-to-self: always stay behind the ride-leader; perhaps fix-up the Pennine (so it has a built-in speed restriction!); perhaps get a helmet (!)
