  • Thanks BQ, Swiss Time Services quote £260 which is a little better - I'll see what the Jeweller comes back with...

Mate , in my experience the only people who really know about co axial is Omega . I use swiss time services A LOT and they were a bit reticent when I sent them one , indeed sent it back saying had to go to Omega . Now whether that is because they know we are an Omega stockist and have an " understanding " with Omega I don't know . If it was mine tho I would just send it to Omega . Be prepared to wait a while , but at least it gives you time to save up for the cost of service !
Plus if you ever decide to sell it then Omega history on that would be a must for any sensible purchaser .

  • TL;DR, but basically he is saying its the most awesome watch ever, made in small numbers and long discontinued?

  • Hey, does anyone else ever look at their ebay watch list and think

    Or is it just me?

  • Every time...

  • Boom boom...

  • Speaking of brash, I couldn't resist picking this up last night. It's fair to say that I own nothing like it and at 41mm it's easily the biggest watch in my collection.

  • I quite like the face but closed lugs are not for me.

  • Speaking of which; if anyone is interested, I'm looking to sell this:

You are Blofeld and I claim my £5

One thin I didn't understand about the write up was what the "replica"
Watch was. A fake? Or a new version?

  • Props to the last two watches

  • Speaking of which; if anyone is interested, I'm looking to sell this:

    Oooh

    Nice
    but
    pricey?

  • About £100

  • Stowa Flieger (aviator) automatic, with no logo. IMO one of the best watches for the money, and the look never goes out of style. I've finally managed to buy it few months ago, old style black strap, with rivets.

  • That's really nice. Without seeing it in the flesh (or the movement inside as it's a front loader) I'd say you've got yourself an original one mate. It certainly looks like it from tiny age related marks on the case and crown plus the hands / batons / etc match with pics of other Seastar Sevens.

Only thing that doesn't fit with the listing, which says it's probably 30 to 40 years old and lists it from 1971 to 1983 is that it is certainly older than this. I'd guess at mid to late 60s. Reason being that it says 'waterproof' on the back and due to a change in the law after 1969 watches had to say 'water resistant' as they couldn't ever be 'proof' but could resist water.

this little tissot is immaculate. probably better than it looks in the pics. it nice to own something so old that has been so well looked after.

not had a dainty little number before, either. suits my gecko wrist.

It was a very good replica.

  • The box it comes in...

    CRINGE...

  • Fuck me.

I thought I already hated the brand as much as I could....

Does it come with a m.a.s.h dvd as well?

  • They have a couple in the Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly.

  • Awful, awful watches. That's the sort of thing I'd expect to see a twelve-year-old wearing (albeit, not at that price).
