I am likely going to be doing a very long commute starting in October three times a week (60 mile round trip).
I am going to be getting something on the ride 2 work scheme almost specifically for the commute that has to come from Evans (unfortunately). Right now, it's narrowed down to a Genesis CdF, or a Caadx with 105. I want clearance for 28c tyres and fittings for mudguards. Is there anything that I've missed?
At the moment, the CdF is in the lead, purely because it has discs rather than cantis. Am I being naive about cantis vs discs or are cantis really as weak as people say?
