Nothing like that available from what I can see in settings. I can't plug it straight in, it has no USB, just works via the SD card, and all I can see on that is the tracks I loaded on to it.

Depending on how you have the device set up, the log files will be on the device and not the card.Does the device appear as a drive when plugged in.?

If the device is like the older etrex you need to set the device into mass storage mode using the setup option on the device.
