Very nice indeed!
Not a fan of mixing and matching different coloured metals, but that is indeed lovely.

Speedmaster is ok.
Wizard watches not so much.

Is this Audi sinn a good price at about 800 quid ?
I think it's a very good looking and uncluttered watch despite the three dials but at £800 I'm not sure you'd get your money back. If it's a chrono or top movement and you really like it maybe but a lesser movement and it can >>>

That Jaeger is hot, though!

Is that a breitling? If so you may have just shown me the first one I've ever seen that i'd want. I assume it's vintage? Got a hint of the panerai about it.
Good buy, well, probably good buy, I've no idea what you paid for it.

Er no. Apparently it's fake as fuck!
I missed out on the bay auction but still found myself thinking about it so signed up to a Breitling forum and asked questions. Someone said due to little literature being available for vintage marques, there are LOADS of moody pieces floating about - Argentina seems to be a big source (exactly where that one was being sold from) - hence my luck in not winning the £430+ bid!
Have to admit I love that design so much I'd pay £50 for it.
Here are a couple of links to relevant threads from there:

That's really nice. Without seeing it in the flesh (or the movement inside as it's a front loader) I'd say you've got yourself an original one mate. It certainly looks like it from tiny age related marks on the case and crown plus the hands / batons / etc match with pics of other Seastar Sevens.
Only thing that doesn't fit with the listing, which says it's probably 30 to 40 years old and lists it from 1971 to 1983 is that it is certainly older than this. I'd guess at mid to late 60s. Reason being that it says 'waterproof' on the back and due to a change in the law after 1969 watches had to say 'water resistant' as they couldn't ever be 'proof' but could resist water.

interesting factoid.
i assume the age in the listing is wrong and he uses the 30-40 yr old spiel in all of his listings. the fakes have smaller batons, which i think is based on the proper gold cased ones. no great loss if it is moody, anyway.thanks for looking!
