You'd think he'd chuck in some fresh bar tape for that.

10 speed record levers, with no paddles... With a DA di2 rear mech? I'm guessing he's using the remote switches for di2.
Ugh. That mix of stuff. I feel dirty just thinking about it.

I heard somewhere that the Masi frame no.s can be checked with the Rt Hon Mr Masi in Milan and he has a ledger which says to whom it was sold to originally -

Magnets.

All the colnagos are nasty. The unbranded silver lo-pro is very beautiful.

agreed on the snide mapei but certainly not regarding the other two

• #78441
hmm, I've just always found those carbon lugs really clumsy looking.

I prefer that to mono mould frames ,the c40 b stay and extreme were some of the best carbon roadbikes made, let alone by Colnago, a shop owner I know doesn't rate the new stuff, and doesn't even stock the brand, but bmc, project california cervelo's http://www.cervelo.com/en/bikes/project-california.html )and the like
also
he said the c50 hp was one of the brands best

The wife's hire bike in Como turned out to be one of these - came very close to putting an offer in for it at the end of the holiday. Ti stem, seatpost, Dura Ace... yes I know it should have had Campag but my god it was nice. Should have gone for it.

I have the weird intuition that the frame does not deserve the parts... But without close-up pictures, I could be completely wrong... Good looking bike though...

Yeah the frame definitely seems earlier than the shifters, that's why I wonder about the date.
If you lost the spacers, and shortened the stem. It'd be my perfect biek.
.....lose the contis obviously.
