Left the house on Saturday and headed over to Herne Hill for Grupetto Track Day. Just a couple miles later a 4x4 pulled out from a side street right in front of me, I've hit the side of it and faceplanted the windscreen, thankfully police car was just a 2 or 3 cars behind me. Few scratched to the bike, swollen knee and a punctured lower lip. After all formalities have been dealt with I made it to the velodrome, but was late for the dash sprints. Did get a 3rd place in points race and finished Roadman's 25 (89 laps) in top 10.
Next morning I had to wake up extra early to make it to the start of 2nd leg in Prudential Ride London Business Relay. Our team finished 2nd out of around 200 other teams.
Good weekend, apart of the crash.
