Finally got out on my new wheels. The tubs felt lovely.
Probably the worst day ever for a first run out of some 56mm deep wheels. Crazy gale force winds. Seemingly smashing you from the side, coming off the sea, then bouncing off a mountain and wacking you from the otherside should you dare to lean. Only took a few minutes to get used to though. They handled a lot better than my old ones.
Went out with the intention of doing a fast 20km, and a easier 18km roll home. The first 20km was a blast, fighting winds, short sharp climbs, and sharp turns.
Need to find the time to go out for longer soon.
