So we're now supposed to look out for u-turning taxis, suiciding peds, random car doors, buses, Addison Lee, white van man, James Martin and the nodder behind going too fast for the conditions or trying to undertake?

Erm, well yes, because that's how defensive cycling works. You can not look out for all of those things if you want, but I don't want to get hurt so I'm sure going to.
