Innit. Not really that easy to apportion blame to everybody else when you're standing in the middle of the road surrounded with the carnage you've just caused.
Anyhow, I am going to take up TTM's suggestion of using hand signals when slowing. I used to do this but stopped because I felt a bit weird doing it on my commute. I'd rather feel a bit weird than hospitalise random people, though.
I indicate... however, I was indicating hand back - slow down whilst going past a bike accident with police and ambulance in attendance and I had 3 lycra clad lads overtake me putting themselves into oncoming traffic.
